Airline Operational Regulatory Compliance Course overview
This course has been designed for current and future aviation professional intending to carry out Operational Management duties in the maintenance and operational airline environment.
It will establish an understanding that leadership and management of regulatory compliance is the basic to normal operations and maintenance of company reputation and market share.
The course is based on the requirements of ISO 9000, PART-ORO to EC Reg. 965/2012, EC Reg. 1321/2014 (Part M). The functioning of the EU aviation regulatory system, including the role of EASA is also explained.
Who is it for?
For those who want to have an in depth understanding of the functioning of the management system of an Airline or Continuing Airworthiness Organizations and for those who want to progress their careers in operational management in Airlines, Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance Organizations or Regulatory Authorities.
Timetable
Module teaching usually begins at 9am and finishes at 5pm each day, with time for breaks. If there is any change to these timings, you will be informed before the start of the module.

- Develop and synthesize the integration of Safety and Quality in an organisation
- Explain the functioning of the EU aviation regulatory system.
Assessment and certificates
You will be asked to submit a reflective journal following completion of the module to illustrate your learning. You will not receive a mark for the reflective journal.
Following successful completion of the module, you will receive a certificate of participation.

Eligibility
There is no prior knowledge needed for this course.
English requirements
For those students whose first language is not English the following qualification is also required:
- IELTS: 6.5
- (A minimum of 6.0 in all four test components is preferable).

Prior to the module you will be notified about necessary prereading. As regulatory compliance is a constantly developing area, the pre course reading is mainly to be found on industry web sites.
As part of the module activity you will be given guidance on reading materials to use to prepare for class. You will also be encouraged to seek out self-directed additional material related to issues being explored.
