City St George's has over 50 research centres across its six Schools, with a strong interdisciplinary focus. These centres provide a structure that supports collaboration across the institution.
Our research centres explore key societal issues and attract significant funding from sources including the European Commission, UK Research Councils, Charitable Foundations and the private sector.
These groups enable staff to work with leaders of industry, government and academia worldwide, and to learn from business challenges and innovations wherever they occur which helps keep our research relevant while helping to shape policy and regulation and strengthen industry.
