In your offer email you will be given a deadline by which you need to add your offer to your UCAS Hub account. If you do not add the offer by this deadline, the offer will lapse and will only be reopened at the discretion of the University.

On Thursday 13th August, Clearing offers can only be added to your UCAS Hub account after 1pm. On any other day, you can add your offer straight away.

To add your offer, you need to be actively in Clearing in UCAS Hub, not showing as Placed with another university. If you are placed elsewhere, you will need to use the decline my place button to release yourself into Clearing so you can add our offer. This ends your contract with your current university, so make sure you’re happy to do this.

If you do not already have a UCAS account, you need to set one up and pay and send it at www.ucas.com.

Once you are actively in Clearing in UCAS Hub an add a choice button will show. Click this button and fill in the information. Our University’s code is C60. Select your course from the drop down. The campus will show the campus your course is taught at.

If your course does not appear in the drop down, this is because it has closed in Clearing at City St George's for new applications but don’t worry, you can still add your offer. Please go back to your UCAS Hub homepage and click the tile next to the add a Clearing choice button which says ‘University/College Supplied Code’. Fill in the details, adding City St George's and your course information, and answer the other questions.

The start date may default to 1st September even though term starts after this. You can view our general term dates here. You will be sent details of your specific course induction timetable closer to when registration begins.

Once you have added your offer to UCAS it will say “Waiting for the provider to confirm your place in Clearing”. This is all you need to do to accept your Clearing offer by the deadline in your offer email. Our admissions team will verify your application compared to the details provided in your webform entry. This is a manual process, so will not happen immediately. It may happen after your offer deadline has passed but if you added your offer by your deadline then you have met that requirement.

Upon successful completion of these checks, UCAS Hub will update to show you have been placed with us and will trigger an invitation for you to register online as a new student at City St George's.

If following a qualifications check your results are not as listed in your webform entry and do not meet our entry requirements, then this offer will be withdrawn and the University will inform you of this in writing.
