Every year, the Employer Engagement team run several extra-curricular events that aim to develop the employability skills of our students, support their career planning and ultimately contribute to their successful transition into the graduate labour market.
We are keen to partner with employers from across all sectors to develop sustainable and long-lasting strategic partnerships.

City St George's Annual Careers Fair

Our annual autumn careers fair aims to connect large, multinational organisations with students from Schools and programmes across City St George's, University of London.
Please note this is a cross-sector/cross-School event so recruiters should expect to meet students from subject areas across all of City St George's Schools.

Employability Skills Programme
- Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday, from the 13th of October – 29th of October 2026

The Employability Skills Programme (ESP) is the Employer Engagement team’s flagship series, designed to guide students through the full graduate recruitment journey.
Each session is held onsite and is hosted by one employer and focuses on a key stage of the recruitment process, offering students practical insight, real world advice, and industry perspectives.

Explore and Discover Panels
- Date: Throughout October/November/February/March
- Location: Online via Teams
- Cost: Free
The aim of our panels are to help students understand the intricacies of roles within their sectors of interest, how their skills from their degree can be translated into the work place and to hear more about the day to day aspect of the role.
Hosted by a member of the Careers and Employability team, these events are an ideal opportunity for industry professionals to showcase specific roles within the business/sector.
Our panel sessions usually take the following schedule:
