Our City Sight clinic, part of the Optometry department in the School of Health & Medical Sciences, offers a wide range of eye care services to the general public and local businesses in state-of-the-art facilities.

Our interdisciplinary Clinical Skills Centre designed to mirror 'real' health care environments and provide an adaptable, modern and appropriate space for both teaching and research.

For students studying Adult, Child or Mental Health Nursing we have simulated practice teaching which helps students gain skills and confidence for their practice placements.

City TECS - Technology Enabled Care Studio

Purpose-built learning hub, designed to simulate a home environment. Equipped with the latest telehealth, telecare, telemedicine, telerehabilitation, electronic health and wearable technologies.

City St George's has one of the UK’s most well-equipped training facilities which includes the VERT room, an fully immersive, life-sized 3D rear projection of a radiotherapy treatment room.

Radiography suite contains 2 Vertix x-ray units, dental equipment allowing students to practise a range of simulated radiographic techniques using equipment similar to that used in most hospitals.

Speech and language students have access to specialist labs with equipment including ultrasound and laryngographs, as well as access to The Roberta Williams Speech and Language Therapy Centre

Optometry students benefit from a range of clinics and laboratories on campus and third year students have the opportunity to work in our specialist clinic CitySight, with industry-standard equipment.
