The ePAD and eMORA are the electronic practice assessment documents that students complete while on placement. These have been developed to ensure that students are prepared to successfully meet the professional standards before registration.
The ePAD team is part of the Allocations team from the School of Health and Medical Sciences in City St George’s, University of London. The team runs training sessions for practice staff who will using the ePAD or eMORA to support students. The session covers how to navigate the systems from practice staff’s perspective.
What does the training session cover?
- How to access ePAD through the correct link (this is not accessible through Google).
- How to navigate the dashboard.
- The different forms that need to be completed and who needs to complete them.
- How to find and edit the student’s hours.
Are there any additional resources?
You will receive a post-training email which will provide a PowerPoint presentation with a detailed walkthrough of the ePAD/eMORA system. Also, you will receive a recording of the training session and access to a demo account to practice the forms, proficiencies and hours.

Midwifery
The Midwifery Ongoing Record Achievement (MORA) is designed to support midwifery students in tracking their clinical competencies, assessments and professional development throughout their training.
MyKnowledgeMap (MKM) has created an electronic version of the MORA giving greater flexibility in the way it can be used, thus creating eMORA.
The eMORA/ePAD team is part of the Allocation’s team from the School of Health and Medical Sciences in City St George's University.
The team runs training sessions for practice staff who are or will be Practice Assessors/Supervisors for a midwifery student.
The sessions cover how to navigate the eMORA system from the Practice Assessors/Supervisors perspective.
