At City St George’s, we believe stories have the power to transform how we see ourselves, each other, and our institution.
Visible Voices builds on previous disability story-sharing campaigns at City, University of London and St George’s University of London, uniting them in a shared commitment to openness, understanding, and inclusion.
This campaign exists to challenge stereotypes, celebrate diversity, and create a culture where every voice is heard and valued. These stories invite us to question our assumptions and to recognise the strengths, talents and insight each person brings to our community. While the campaign focuses on disability, these stories reflect the intersection of many identities that shape how we experience the world.
Previous campaigns have sparked meaningful conversations and influenced positive change. Visible Voices continues this work by amplifying lived experiences and strengthening our sense of belonging. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed so far. Your stories create space for honest dialogue and have real power to shift culture.
Visible Voices will continue to grow, with new stories from staff, students and alumni published regularly. If you would like to share your experience, or have an informal conversation about being featured, please contact the Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion. Your voice can make a difference. Please join us in shaping a more inclusive future!
