As an optometrist you'll examine patients' eyes, advise on visual problems and prescribe and fit glasses or contact lenses when needed. We’ll train you to recognise eye diseases, like glaucoma and cataract, as well as general health conditions such as diabetes.
Our teaching is informed by world-leading research, and our courses are accredited by appropriate professional bodies, including the General Optical Council (GOC) and College of Optometrists.
