French Elementary - Level 2 Course overview
Take your French skills further with our Elementary French course. Designed for learners who already have a basic foundation in the language. The course will help you build confidence and communicate more effectively in everyday situations.
Delivered over the year in three 10-week modules, the course focuses on developing your pronunciation, including more challenging French sounds, while strengthening your overall language ability.
You will revisit key grammar topics taught in Level 1, such as the present tense and passé composé, and expand your knowledge by learning the future and imperfect tenses.
Modules are taught progressively, and you can join at any point.
By the end of the year, you’ll be communicating with confidence at CEFR A1/2 level of the Common European Framework for language learning.
Who is it for?
If you have completed our Level 1 beginners course or you have retained some GCSE French this is a good place to start. Ideally, you would have previously studied French for approximately 60 hours. More information can be found in the eligibility section.
