The Entrepreneurial Mindset for Life & Work is a 6-week interactive short course that helps you develop the qualities and build a toolkit to thrive in work and life. Whether you’re building your career, leading a team through change, starting something new, or simply figuring things out, this course empowers you with the mindset to move forward with agency and possibility.
Who is it for?
Rooted in neuroscience and real-world experience, it’s designed for anyone who wants to think differently and unlock their own creative, entrepreneurial potential.

This course takes place for 2 hours every Thursday evening for 6 weeks.
City St George’s Short Courses follow the academic year, delivering courses over three terms:

Curiosity, Courage & Creativity: Reframe fear through the lens of curiosity, courage, and creativity to unlock insight and explore what’s possible.
Session 4: Thursday 8th October 18:30-20:30 -
Agility, Focus & Tenacity: Strengthen focus, adaptability, and resilience to keep moving forward and make meaningful progress, even when things feel challenging.
Session 5: Thursday 15th October 18:30-20:30 -
Self-Belief, Experimentation & Making Things Happen: Build self-belief and a bias for action by experimenting and learning through doing. Get comfortable with taking imperfect steps forward.
Session 6: Thursday 22nd October 18:30-20:30 -
Customer-Centricity, Opportunity & Growth: Create opportunities by embracing a customer-centric mindset to spot needs and turn challenges into growth, and for your own path.
Assessment and certificates
You will be awarded an official City St George’s, University of London certificate on completion of the course if you attend over 70 per cent of the classes. The course is not formally accredited.
Eligibility
We do not ask for any qualifications to enrol in this course, only an enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in the subject area.
English requirements
You will need a good level of spoken and written English to enrol on this course.
