City St George’s, University of London is celebrating 50 years of Journalism and to mark this incredible milestone in our department's history we are delighted to invite our alumni and staff past and present to the event.
Journalism at City St George's began as a postgraduate department in 1976 and has developed some of the most respected Journalism courses in the country. We are celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To mark this incredible milestone in our department's history we are delighted to invite our Journalism alumni and former staff to an evening event at the Stationers' Hall, London hosted by Prof Karen Fowler-Watt, Head of Department of Journalism.
We will have the pleasure of welcoming a special guest, who will present the award of 'Golden Alumni Ambassador of Journalism at City St George’s' to one of our distinguished Journalism alumni. Earlier this year, the City St George's journalism community chose its 50@50 Golden Trailblazers in Journalism, who are going to be celebrated shortly and alumni will have the opportunity to vote on a shortlist of 16 Trailblazers to select the winner.
The dress code for this event is smart casual.
