Lecturers and alumni from the different postgraduate journalism courses at City St George's, University of London will be sharing practical tips and advice about gaining key journalism skills and how to forge a career in the media
This event will be hosted online at 5pm (GMT) on Wednesday 28 January 2026, allowing you to talk to us and discover more about developing the skills needed to break into journalism.

The event is a great way to get all the information you may need to better understand the industry. As well as the mini skills sessions listed below*, there’s a journalism jobs panel (with working journalists), and chance to ask, us, our alumni and our current students, any questions you may have about journalism and what we offer at City St George's.
