- Andrea Borghini, Associate Professor, Philosophy Department, University of Milan, and Visiting Faculty, Center for Human Values, Princeton University
- Enrico Bonadio, Professor of Law, City St George's, University of London
Join us for a special event celebrating the launch of the new book by Enrico Bonadio and Andrea Borghini, "Food, Philosophy, and Intellectual Property - Fifty Case Studies." This unique book brings together three fascinating subjects in a way that's rarely seen.
Enrico and Andrea will guide us through a selection of the book's 50 case studies, organized around eight themes: images; genericity and descriptiveness; language traps; procedures; menus, recipes, and creativity; boundaries; biotech; and empowerment.
During the event, we will explore a wide range of topics, from food products and recipes, to the deeper connections between food and cultural identity. Enrico and Andrea will highlight the ethical, political, and aesthetic significance of culinary arts and gastronomic experiences.
Whether you're a scholar, student, practitioner, or simply someone with an interest in intellectual property, food law, or food studies, this event promises to offer valuable insights and engaging discussions.
Attendance at City St George's events is subject to our terms and conditions.
