Italian Beginners - Level 1 Course overview
Study Italian and develop essential speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to help you communicate with confidence in a wide range of real-world scenarios.
We’ll start by teaching you simple vocabulary so you can introduce yourself and others, talk about your profession and describe your weekly routine. You’ll learn how to count and pronounce the alphabet correctly.
You’ll begin to understand basic rules of grammar, such as personal pronouns, and definite and indefinite articles. As you progress throughout the year, you’ll learn to describe events, using the past tense, and learn about Italian culture and way of life.
By learning Italian for beginners we follow best practice, set out by the Common European Framework Reference of language learning (CEFR). You will be communicating at CEFR A1 by the end of the course.
Who is it for?
