- Executive MBA up 11 places to 44th in the world
- Up eight places to 27th in Europe
- Maintained position as the UK’s sixth highest-ranked institution
Bayes Business School has risen 11 places in the latest Financial Times EMBA 2026 Ranking, and up to 44th in the world.
The annual ranking assesses business schools against measures including alumni career progression, school diversity, research, internationalisation and ESG provision. Data is provided by schools, along with information from alumni who are surveyed three years after completing their programme. As well as the global rise, the latest ranking sees Bayes climb eight places to 27th in Europe while consolidating its 6th position for UK-based schools
Among individual measures, Bayes was ranked joint first in the world for female student participation. It was also among the top five UK-based schools for alumni salary levels, salary increases and for teaching of topics related to sustainability and responsible management.
Dr Paulina Roszkowska, Course Director for the Bayes Executive MBA, said:
“This is a pleasing result that emphasises the rich and diverse experience we offer to EMBA students in helping them accelerate their careers.
“This is a fantastic result that reflects what Bayes does best: bringing business thinking into practice and ambitious people together to challenge ideas, learn from each other and change how they lead.
“What sets our EMBA apart is its flexibility without putting ambition on hold. Students can choose evening classes twice a week or one weekend a month in London, supplemented by online learning, fitting the programme around work and life. The timetable fits around them. The people stretch their thinking. And with London’s finance and tech communities on the doorstep, their network grows well beyond the classroom.”
Professor Richard Payne, Deputy Dean for Programmes at Bayes, said:
“This is an excellent result that showcases the value of the work we’ve been doing to keep our MBA offering fresh and to cater for the needs of both today’s employers and a busy part-time student body.
“The Executive MBA is designed with flexibility in mind for candidates with significant existing demands who are also looking to take the next step in their careers, be it in London or further afield, and this result gives us confidence that the programme is delivering on its goals.
“Congratulations to Dr Roszkowska and all of the academic and professional colleagues involved in our MBA programme on helping to deliver such a significant improvement in our ranking.”
The Bayes Executive MBA is a two-year, part-time course designed for participants preparing for c-suite roles or enhanced seniority and strategic leadership. The Evening EMBA is taught twice a week on campus in London, while the Modular EMBA consists of one long weekend each month in London plus online learning in a blended format.
Both options follow the same curriculum, equipping students with the necessary strategic and global leadership skills to navigate complex business challenges.
In a separate ranking, Bayes research has been named 35th in the world for policy citations and 47th for external grant success, according to the Financial Times’ Impact rankings.
