About the speaker
Ursina Schaede is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tufts University and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Zurich for the 2026/27 academic year.
As an applied microeconomist, she studies labour markets with a focus on education and gender.
Her recent work has covered, among others, mothers’ labour-supply decisions after childbirth and the long-run financial consequences of part-time work, as well as the long-term effects of anti-bullying programmes on educational and labour-market outcomes.
