About the speaker
Hannah Zillessen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at KU Leuven and an affiliated researcher at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
She works on labour economics, household finance and public economics, combining quasi-experimental methods with applied theory.
Her recent work has covered, among others, the dynamic choices of migrants under state uncertainty, household decision-making, and the design and acceptability of digital tools such as app-based contact tracing, with attention to data protection and privacy.
