Women into Insurance

Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) is proud to partner with iWIN (the Insurance Women’s Inclusivity Network of the Worshipful Company of Insurers) to present the fifth edition of Women into Insurance.

This inspiring half-day event is designed to showcase the breadth of opportunities within the insurance profession and encourage more women to consider it as a rewarding and dynamic career path.

Through a series of engaging panel discussions, you will hear first-hand from women at different stages of their careers, sharing their journeys, insights and advice. An employer fair will provide the opportunity to connect directly with firms, explore entry routes into the sector and discover the wide range of roles insurance has to offer.

The day will conclude with a networking reception – a chance to meet people from across the profession, ask questions and build connections.

Whether you are a student, a recent graduate, considering a career change or simply curious about a career in insurance, Women into Insurance offers a welcoming space to explore possibilities and learn more about the profession.

13:00 – Arrival and registration

13:30–14:15 – Kicking off in the insurance sector

A panel of women who have recently entered the industry will share how they found their roles, what they have learned so far and their advice for anyone considering a career in insurance.

14:20–15:05 – Come as you are: The hundreds of roles in insurance

This session will explore the wide variety of roles across the insurance sector, including claims, broking, underwriting, actuarial, business and data analysis, exposure management, legal, marketing and many more.

15:05–15:25 – Break

15:30–16:15 – Career session: How to land a role

A practical career-focused session on how to position and present yourself, build your profile and stand out when applying for roles.

16:20–17:00 – Female Insurance Leaders

Senior female leaders will share how they entered and progressed through the profession, reflect on their career journeys and offer advice for the next generation.

17:00–18:00 – Employer Fair

Meet insurers, brokers and other organisations to explore career, internship and graduate opportunities.

18:00–20:00 – Networking Reception
