Portfolio Futures is an in person mini conference which will bring together colleagues to consider how City St George's educational portfolio should respond to learner expectations, workforce needs, partnership opportunities and artificial intelligence.
The event will create space for informed debate, practical discussion and challenge rather than presenting predetermined answers.
The conference will focus on the following connected areas.
- Collaborative provision: How can partnerships extend our reach, combine expertise and create value while maintaining quality and a consistent learner experience?
- Lifelong learning: How can we support people at different stages of their lives and careers through more flexible routes into, through and back into education?
- Online programmes: What should a coherent and distinctive portfolio of online programmes look like, and how can it respond to the needs of learners seeking greater flexibility?
What to expect
The programme will combine information sharing, student perspectives and participatory discussions.
Plenary sessions will take place in Drysdale Building in ELG01, with breakout discussions in ELG02, ELG11, ELG12 and ELG13.
Participants will be encouraged to share experience, challenge assumptions and help identify the questions and priorities that require further work.
A full programme and speaker details will be added to this event page shortly.
