About the Speakers

Lara Shamamy - Junior Data Engineer

Lara is a data science degree apprentice in her second year at PA Consulting, specialising in data engineering within the public sector. Her role involves designing and building data pipelines, implementing data quality frameworks and deploying cloud-based solutions to support government clients in strengthening their data infrastructure and analytical capabilities. Her work focuses on delivering end-to-end data solutions that enables public sector clients to derive greater value from their data assets.

Maria Bogdanovskaya - Senior Data Analytics Manager

Maria is a data analytics expert with extensive experience working with health and public sector organisations. Throughout her career Maria has worked in and out of the NHS supporting national bodies, healthcare providers, commissioners, and wider health economies to improve patient care, support staff welfare and enable long term financial sustainability. Maria has delivered multiple complex programmes and analytical products for various organisations. In addition to strong technical analytical skills, Maria has extensive experience managing large complex programmes, working with very senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops and discussions between NHS leaders, medical professionals, patient representatives, commissioners, and sector experts.
