Spotlight on Science is back! Throughout the year, City St George’s will open its doors to the public for free evening events, themed around key areas of our health research.
The audience will get the inside scoop from our scientists and healthcare professionals on the latest research for a wide range of topics. Previous events have focused on Global Health, cancer immunotherapy, antibiotic resistance and Covid-19, to name a few.

About the event
Babies are susceptible to many life-threatening infections in their first few weeks of life, but with vaccines given during pregnancy we can now protect them from the very start.
Our experts will discuss the benefits of maternal vaccination and explain how these advances are helping to protect mother and baby.
