This is a recurring event: View all events in the series “Summer Sounds”
Come and join Neil Kagan to explore the world of modular synthesis, in this afternoon workshop, with demonstrations and a chance to get your hands stuck in with patch cables, knobs and weird noises.
Suitable for all those interested, from curious onlookers to practicing artists and engineers. The session will start with a dive into how modular synthesizers work and continue to explore some of the key techniques and concepts of making sounds with them. Following this, you are invited to come and try out making sounds for yourself or even better, with others!
The workshop is free to attend, but please register in advance.
All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own modules and CV/gate instruments and equipment if desired.
Attendance at City St George's events is subject to our terms and conditions.
