On Thursday, 3 July 2025, the City Law School, City St George’ s, University of London, will host the 4th Conference on Financial Law and Regulation. This year’s Conference is designed to support PhD students and early-career researchers with an interest in Financial Law and Regulation and to gather influential scholars and practitioners in the field from the UK and Ireland. The Conference delegates will present new research and discuss the recent legal and regulatory developments in the field. The Conference will encourage lively debate and will bring together a wide range of perspectives, including from regulators and industry.
Programme
The Conference series was launched by Dr Andreas Kokkinis (Birmingham University) and Professor Federico Lupo-Pasini (Durham University) in 2022. The organisers of the 2025 conference are Professor Federico Lupo-Pasini (Durham University), Dr Andreas Kokkinis (Birmingham University), Dr Ilias Kapsis (City St George’s, University of London), Dr Virág Blazsek (University of Leeds), and Dr Clara Martins Pereira (Durham University).
Supported by the Banking and Financial Services Law Section of the Society of Legal Scholars and the City Law School, the Conference will feature five panels on: Corporate Governance, FinTech I, FinTech II, Sustainable Finance, and Financial Regulation.
