We are excited to welcome students, staff, professionals, and the public to the seventh London Student Sustainability Conference (LSSC25).
This Conference is now sold out to in person delegates.
We are thrilled by the overwhelming interest from our students in participating and engaging on sustainability topics. Registration remains open for those who wish to attend virtually.
We look forward to connecting with you on the day, whether in person or online.
The London Student Sustainability Conference provides attendees with the chance to explore the remarkable work undertaken in the climate and sustainability realms being carried out by students across London.
The student’s work is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals), and will be showcased through presentations, posters, and other creative mediums.
LSSC25 offers a fantastic opportunity for attendees to broaden their knowledge on sustainability issues, gain inspiration and the necessary tools to take climate action.
LSSC25
This year the Conference and networking event will be held in person at University of Westminster in Central London on Wednesday 26 February 2025.
The Conference will adopt a hybrid format, allowing participants from London and beyond to attend either in person or virtually. All sessions will be available to livestream for those attending online.
The networking event will offer space for those attending in person to meet students and academics from London universities and professionals from the public sector and corporate sustainability.
Following the success of last year’s collaboration with the Student Sustainability Research Conference (SSRC) hosted by the University of Leeds which showcases the work of students’ across all Yorkshire universities, LSSC will once again invite their top three presenters to host a session each and in return, LSSC will send their three winning presenters to SSRC25!
Posters
Students from across London were invited to submit academic posters showcasing how their work supports one or more of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
All poster submissions for this year’s Conference are available to view at the online exhibition space.
The posters will also be displayed in Portland Hall during the Conference, where they will be evaluated by a panel of expert judges in three categories:
- Most Effective Visual
- Most Original Concept
- Best Poster Overall.
To view the posters online, please follow this link to the exhibition space.
Don’t miss the announcement of the competition winners at the Conference closing remarks.
