The Participatory Action Research Group in Migration and Border Violence at City St George’s, University of London invites you to participate in an afternoon to build solidarity in research and practice.
This research networking day provides a forum to introduce interdisciplinary research with an aim of building solidarity in academic work and praxis to challenge and resist the politics of migration that give rise to violence, that rely on violence for their implementation, and that consistently avoid existing systems of accountability for violence.
We invite a series of lightning talks by interested academics and practitioners from across London and beyond, who are working in this area and want to share current research and practice, and help us build a greater network to implement pathways to foreground work for actionable change in the politics of migration.
Lightning talks will be allocated 5-7 minutes per talk, and will ask simply for the brief outline of your research, and your core aims going forward.
If you are interested in a lightning talk slot, please use the button below to register your interest.
Attendance at City St George's events is subject to our terms and conditions.
