Abstract
Data is an essential tool to support business decisions across strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives.
In the moment (live) data supports command and control functions to adapt to circumstances and incidents as they arise.
Retrospective analysis and insights help identify pain points and root cause of problems, driving continual improvement.
Kathy will talk about how analytics and insights have informed investment, operational, performance, resourcing, and financial decisions at Stansted Airport and how the journey to automation of data processing and visualisation is leading to vastly improved outcomes.
Without clear data driven intelligence, businesses will inevitably make poorer judgements and unreliable decisions, affecting the bottom line, wasting resources and ultimately loosing market competitiveness.
