A roundtable with historians, IR scholars, and practitioners to discuss the value and use of history in international affairs, how the ability to take the long view can benefit current global politics and help clarify international challenges, and how to promote historical reasoning and knowledge in think tanks, foreign policy institutions, and policymaking.
The event is hosted by the Department of International Politics - City, University of London and it is organised in collaboration with Chatham House, The Royal Institute for International Affairs as part of a series on History and International Affairs.
