Abstract
At Motorway, our data science and analytics team are integral to our success. As we rapidly grow and disrupt the car industry in the UK, we seek to be guided by data in our decision making and develop world-class technology solutions to build a better car market for everyone.
We have partnered with Women in Data to help bring more inclusion and diversity to previously male dominated sectors, where we see great potential to bring new perspectives and innovation.
In this talk we will introduce Motorway as a company, members of our Analytics team and present a "day in the life" of one of our Data Analysts, who works in our Payment Analytics team. This should give students an idea of how they can practically apply data science principles to match business needs in order to drive success, as well as showcasing real-life AI applications that we use to help customers price and profile their cars for selling on our online marketplace.
