Learn Spanish at City St George’s and you will become part of our supportive language community at City St George’s, University of London. Our interactive Spanish classes are taught in the evenings, and you can choose from learning with us online or in the classroom.
From beginners and beyond, each level has three parts that gradually move from basic to more complex topics. It’s up to you whether you commit to a full year or take each part separately. Choose a start date to learn Spanish that suits you – we begin courses in October, January and April/May.

We split our language courses into different levels, from basic sessions for beginners to more advanced groups. Every level has three parts – you can take them separately – or enrol on the full year for the best value.
Beginners - year 1
Develop a solid grasp of basic Spanish. You’ll explore everyday vocabulary and simple grammatical structures.
Join us here if you have little or no experience of learning Spanish.
Working towards CEFR A1 level.

- Suitable for total beginners

- Suitable for near beginners (you’ve studied Spanish formally for 20+ hours)

- Suitable for experienced beginners (you’ve studied Spanish formally for 40+ hours)
- Start in April/May
- 10 evening classes over 10 weeks.

Lower Intermediate - year 2
Perfect and improve your Spanish beginners skills and communicate with greater fluency.
Working towards CEFR A1/2 level.
Join us here if you have:
- completed our Spanish Beginners syllabus or a similar course
- a rusty or low Spanish GCSE
- have reached low CEFR A1 level
- studied Spanish formally 60-100 hours.
