City St George’s provides discretionary grants for students experiencing a shortfall in funding where all other sources of funding has been exhausted. The following are normally considered: travel, accommodation, course materials, childcare and general living costs.
The Student Support Fund has replaced the University Hardship Funds and is open to all eligible students.
Students are required to complete an online application form and upload supporting information, this information will be used to determine whether a discretionary grant will be provided.
Please note: no consideration will be given towards costs for tuition fees and/or visa fees.
When can I apply?
Applications will open from Monday 5 October 2026.
