Rory Peck Trust will fund the UK tuition fees for one journalist-in-exile undertaking the MA International Journalism programme at City St George's.

Criteria

The funded student must:

  • be a journalist or freelance journalist;
  • be living in exile, displaced, or at risk as a result of their journalism;
  • meet the University’s academic entry requirements;
  • satisfy English language requirements where applicable;
  • hold immigration status permitting study in the United Kingdom.

The award

Rory Peck Trust will fund the UK/Home tuition fee rate applicable to the MA International Journalism programme for one eligible student.

Eligibility

The selection criteria (inclusive of university entrance criteria) are as follows:

  • be a journalist or freelance journalist;
  • be living in exile, displaced, or at risk as a result of their journalism;
  • meet the University’s academic entry requirements;
  • satisfy English language requirements where applicable;
  • hold immigration status permitting study in the United Kingdom
