Horton Halls is a Hall of Residence for City St George's, University of London, located in Tooting. All City St George's students are eligible to apply.
Horton Halls offers standard rooms (with a single bed) and premium rooms (with a small double bed), all en-suite.
There are on-site laundry facilities, internet access in every room, and a secure reception staffed 24 hours a day. There is a mixture of single gender and mixed gender flats on site, which are clustered around an attractive central courtyard.
All residents have access to a common room with comfortable seating and a large plasma-screen television, where students can relax and meet friends.
The rent prices are as follows for 2026/2027:
- Standard room (single bed): £206 per week
- Premium room (double bed): £228 per week.
All single occupancy, ensuite bathroom and shared kitchen, self-catered only.
Number of students sharing a kitchen: 4-8 (most are 6).

Getting to Horton Halls
From Waterloo Station
Take the South Western Railway (Chessington South) to Earlsfield Station (12 minutes). From there, it's a short 15 minute walk.
Alternatively, take the Northern Line Underground to Tooting Broadway (18 minutes) and walk 20 minutes to Horton Halls.
The Northern line is well served by many of London’s central stations.
From City St George's Tooting campus
Depart from St James wing and take the G1 bus to St George's Grove, this drops you directly outside of Horton Halls. Total time 12 minutes.
Or you can walk directly, which takes approximately 20 minutes.
