Join UN Women UK for Leadership Training, for City St George's students of all genders and ages.
With networking to follow the training.
Join us for a training on psychological safety and women's leadership. This training session, delivered by Phoebe Waters, Optimising Potential, will explore the importance of psychological safety in creating environments where women can thrive.
The session will consider how fostering authenticity, confidence, and a culture in which individuals feel able to speak up can support women to develop as leaders, as well as how psychological safety can enable individuals to contribute fully and reach their potential. This training is open to all genders and City St George's students of all ages.
The leadership training is delivered as part of UN Women UK’s GenEqual programme. GenEqual is an initiative designed to empower and mobilise young people aged 18–30 across the UK to take action for gender equality. It was created in response to a growing need for dedicated, inclusive spaces where younger people can lead change in their own communities and connect their efforts to national and global movements.
GenEqual members are part of a community of young leaders committed to building a just and equal future. City St George's students above the age of 30 are also invited to participate in this training and the networking that follows.
