About the speaker
Alberto Prati is an Assistant Professor in Economics at UCL, where he teaches economic psychology, a Research Fellow of the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford and an Associate of the Centre for Economic Performance at the LSE.
His research focuses on the measurement of subjective wellbeing, how people form and revise opinions and beliefs, and the design of behavioural methods to measure things that are hard to observe.
His recent work has covered, among others, memory biases in life-satisfaction data, the wellbeing cost of inflation inequality and the determinants of national happiness.
