Join us to celebrate our global community and find out more about opportunities to engage with the world.
What is Global Week?
Coordinated by the Office for Global Engagement in partnership with the Student Union, Global Week is a cross-institutional programme of international themed events and activities for City St George’s staff and students.
Its aims and objectives are to:
- Increase understanding amongst our students of the importance of ‘engaging with the world’ and opportunities available to them.
- Support staff in developing the knowledge and means to apply global dimensions in their work and engage globally.
- Celebrate the contribution that our internationally diverse community makes to life at City St George's and around the world.
- Enhance the global profile of City St George's as the university of business, practice and professions.

Transnational Technologically-enabled Learning: what would work for me?
Session offered by: Eraj Haidari, Fellow in Transnational Legal Education and Tamara Hervey, The City Law School; and Elisabetta Lando and Dominic Pates, LEaD
From 2023-2025, colleagues in The City Law School and LEaD collaborated to develop and offer an intense extra-curricular transnational learning experience, bringing together students from City St George’s, and Udayana University, Indonesia.
Students were paid to participate in the project, which involved synchronous and asynchronous online learning, on the theme of gender equality and law, across the two countries. We will present our project, show a short film that we made about it, and give you a chance to ask any questions you have.
Then it will be over to you. In pairs or small groups, we’ll ask you to think about what you might like to do in your field involving transnational technologically-enabled learning, and show you some simple LEaD learning design tools that might help.
You’ll leave the session with clearer ideas of what it takes to offer transnational technologically-enabled learning and what resources (including people) in City St George’s could help.
