Here’s a brief description of the talks at the 2025 CLCSR Implementing Research into Clinical Practice:
This event explores how cutting-edge research is being integrated into clinical practice within health and psychological sciences. The programme features parallel sessions covering adult-focused and developmental-focused research, including studies on AI and machine learning, aphasia, telehealth assessments, voice rehabilitation, communication partner training, and inclusive data visualization. Developmental talks address mealtime experiences for children with eating difficulties, dialogic reading interventions, narrative development in sign languages, and clinical research applications for communication disorders.
The event also includes a combined session on professional development through research collaborations, reflections on large-scale study recruitment, and personal journeys from clinical roles to research careers.
