Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills Course overview
Getting your ideas across effectively requires an understanding of communication styles, behaviour and the ways people respond to one another.
Our entry-level Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills short course helps you develop your communication skills by exploring verbal and non-verbal communication, behavioural flexibility and the subconscious cues that influence interactions.
Delivered through 10 weekly evening live online classes, this highly interactive and practical course introduces a broad range of tools and techniques to help you express yourself more effectively, communicate your ideas and develop confidence in social and professional situations. While the course has a particular focus on workplace communication, including business settings, the techniques can also be applied to personal and social interactions.
The course is introductory rather than academic or advanced. You’ll practise the techniques discussed with other participants through group and paired activities, including breakout-room exercises, giving you opportunities to explore and apply the approaches covered during the classes.
Who is it for?
This entry-level course is ideal for anyone who wants to develop their communication and interpersonal skills, build confidence and communicate more effectively in professional, social or personal situations.
