Joseph Bell

Joseph Bell’s dreamy alt-pop is inspired by modern songwriters including Lorde and James Blake and the noughties guitars and hip-hop tinged pop he grew up on. Originally from Shrewsbury, Joseph was playing open mic nights at 13 and producing his own music by 18.

Joseph’s first EP, Dancing Days, was released in 2020, and he has since played at iconic London venues including Ronnie Scott’s and the Troubadour. He recorded a live session for BBC Introducing which was released on iPlayer in 2024 and Joseph sold out his first headline show at cult London venue the Hope and Anchor in the same year.

Joseph has been an SCC Creative in Residence since summer 2023.
