About
Overview
He is a PhD researcher in Economics at City St George’s, University of London. His research interests span labour economics, applied microeconomics, the economics of crime, and workplace safety, with a particular emphasis on understanding the determinants and consequences of workplace violence and the role of public policy in shaping worker outcomes.
His doctoral research investigates workplace assaults and differences in exposure to violence across occupational groups, with a particular focus on emergency workers. Using applied econometric and causal inference methods, his research examines the effects of policy interventions, explores heterogeneity across occupations, and investigates the mechanisms through which workplace violence occurs.
His wider research interests include the application of experimental methods to questions surrounding workplace behaviour, deterrence, social norms, bullying and harassment, reporting behaviour, and attitudes towards policy interventions. Through this work, he seeks to contribute rigorous empirical evidence to the broader understanding of workplace safety, worker wellbeing, and the design and evaluation of effective public policy.
