About
Overview
Vittorio is a PhD candidate in Economics. He is mainly interested in capital markets and macroeconomic policies and, under the supervision of Professor Michael Ben-Gad and Professor Joseph Pearlman, is focusing his research on the monetary and fiscal policy interactions in the Euro area.
He also serves the Bank of Italy, where he co-manages an investment portfolio on behalf of the European Central Bank. Until 2023 he has been involved in the Bank’s debt management activities on behalf of the Italian Treasury. He studied Economics and Finance at Bocconi University, where he later obtained an MSc in Finance. Before joining the Bank of Italy, he worked for the European Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank’s Corporate & Investment Banking division.
