Alexandra Eva Baumann

Overview

Alexandra Eva Baumann is a doctoral researcher in law at City Law School, City St George’s, University of London. Her research focuses on music copyright and the commercialisation thereof, both historically and currently.

Alexandra earned her LLM (with distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London and her LLM dissertation explored the protectability of Blues music elements in the U.S. copyright law context.

Before returning to university for her LLM and now her PhD, Alexandra worked in business development at large international law firms, gaining experience in cross‑border legal strategy and the commercial realities of global markets. 

Alexandra is supervised by Professor Enrico Bonadio and Dr Marc Mimler.
