Mike Drummond is KTP Manager, at City St George’s, University of London.
KTPs are partnerships between a UK business, charity or public sector organisation seeking expertise, a university expert and a recently qualified high-quality graduate.
Mike supports the whole process of scoping, applying for and delivering KTPs – from partner search, business-academic matchmaking, project definition, application and project set-up and delivery.
You can find out more about KTPs at Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) * City St George’s, University of London
Additionally, Mike is Partnerships Coordinator for Diverse-CDT, an EPSRC-funded College of Doctoral Training in Data Visualization delivered in partnership with Warwick University. Diverse will train 60 PhD students over 8 years to become experts and industry leaders in data visualization.
A key aspect of this programme is engagement with external partners where students can spend time working on industry challenges.
Mike works with the Diverse-CDT Manager to develop new partnerships and manage the 30+ external partners collaborating on this amazing opportunity.
