Katy Daniels

Like all Careers Consultants at City St George's, Katy has a career background in some specific sectors, but with years of experience as a careers consultant, she can use her skills and knowledge to support students and graduates from all backgrounds/subject areas, to explore their career options and prepare for graduate jobs or further study.

Katy graduated from the University of Warwick with BSc (Hons) International Business, which included a year at Universidad Carlos III, Madrid. She has since worked in the industry for over 15 years, completing the graduate schemes at both Hearst Publishing and Beiersdorf (Nivea).

Katy then spent 12 years at Estee Lauder Companies, with her principal role as Marketing Director, MAC UK & EIRE.

Having achieved what she set out to in terms of her Marketing career, Katy was keen to transition her focus from brands to people.

As a Careers Consultant, Katy is able to bring her first-hand knowledge of recruitment to help prepare students via one-to-one guidance sessions & employability lectures.

Previously dedicated to Bayes Business School, Katy now supports careers education for the School of Policy & Global Affairs.

She currently holds a PG Certificate in Careers Education, Information & Guidance in Higher Education, from the University of Warwick.
