Dr Khalid Shukri is the Senior Innovation and IP Commercialisation Manager and is the lead on commercialisation activity across City St George’s, University of London, and St George’s NHS Trust.
Dr Shukri has a wealth of experience working both in the UK and the USA; leading teams in setting up several spin out companies, raising external funding to accelerate technology development and scale up, and building a patent portfolio and commercial exploitation through licensing with multinational companies.
He graduated from University College London with a BSc Honours degree in chemistry and a PhD in chemistry/materials science in nanomaterial sensor fabrication.
