About

Overview

Professor Vasanti Jadva joined City St Georges, University of London, in 2023. She holds honorary positions at the Centre for Child, Adolescent and Family Research, University of Cambridge and the Institute for Women's Health, UCL. She leads the Reproduction and the Family (ReproFam) Research Group, which conducts research on family diversity and child development in the UK and abroad. The group is based at the Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research. Her research examines the psychological well-being of parents and children in families created using IVF, egg donation, sperm donation and surrogacy. She also conducts research on the experiences of surrogates and gamete donors. Professor Jadva is working on several research projects including studies of male infertility, prenatal bonding, elective co-parenting and the psychological wellbeing of egg donors.
