About
Overview
Dr Tony Karas is a criminologist whose research examines the far right. Tony's work employs a cultural criminological approach as an alternative to ‘counter-extremist’ thinking about the contemporary far right, and focuses on the roles of subculture and style, the internet and social media, and emotion and affect within the far right. His most recent research analyses British neo-Nazis’ first-hand accounts of their political journeys into the far right.
