Overview
Sonali is a qualified solicitor and senior lecturer on the Solicitors' Practice Programme ('SPP'), where she is currently the module leader for Property Law and Practice and the Family Law elective. She is also the joint module leader for Analytical Professional Skills. Sonali is a LLM dissertation supervisor and teaches on the LLB in Legal Practice apprenticeship course.
Sonali has previously been awarded The City Law School Award for Excellence based on student feedback and has been recognised by the Student Union (Student Impact Award) for the student support.
Sonali holds a Masters in Law (LLM), and is a member of the Law Society (non-practising solicitor). She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), an Associate Member of Resolution (Family Justice Professionals) and an Accredited Workplace Mediator.
Sonali has held various external examining roles and is currently an external examiner at King's College, University of London. She also contributes to the SQE Prep and Practice resource published by Oxford University Press.
