Overview
Rachel joined The City Law School in October 2018 as a Senior Lecturer and teaches Business Law and Practice, Written Professional Skills and Employment Law on the Solicitors' Practice Programme. She is the Module Leader for Business Law and Practice and Employment Law. Rachel was the Programme Director of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) for its final years at The City Law School from 2020 to 2023.
Rachel qualified as a solicitor at Simmons & Simmons in the Employment Law department. Prior to joining City St George's, she worked as a Lecturer at BPP University, teaching and assessing a range of modules. She also held the role of Programme Leader at BPP University for a number of different LPC programmes, including the September LPC and the Fast-Track LPC. Shortly after joining City St George's, she wrote a new Employment Law module. Rachel is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys singing in the London Concert Chorus and has performed with them in a variety of venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. Rachel also loves to travel, having once been a tour leader for an adventure travel company, and has a particular passion for India.
