Overview
Olivia is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Food Policy, working on the ENTHUSE Project. She is an epidemiologist specialising in obesity prevention and the commercial determinants of health. Her research examines the design and impact of obesity prevention policies, with a particular focus on food policy, health inequalities, and the wider influence of commercial determinants, including alcohol policy.
She is particularly interested in how commercial practices shape health and inequality, and her work seeks to inform policy that challenges these influences. By addressing the role of industry in shaping food and alcohol environments, Olivia aims to contribute to the development of healthier, fairer systems that improve opportunities for all.
Olivia holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Nottingham, and MSc in Global Health and Development from University College London.
