Overview
Michelle graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a first class honours degree in Optical Management in 1999, also winning the prize for best overall performance for the year group. She worked in practice as a Dispensing Optician and went on to complete her Contact Lens Fitting qualification in 2004.
Michelle was a Visiting Clinical Tutor at City University since 2016 and supported teaching and examining across all year groups in dispensing and contact lens fitting. In June 2023, Michelle took on a permanent role as Lecturer in Optometry and Visual Sciences.
Michelle also holds roles with the Association of British Dispensing Opticians and the General Optical Council to include examining and support with CPD.
